Across the group, total passenger numbers for the year are up 4.4%, serving over 62 million passengers.
Manchester Airport this month saw 4.3% growth compared to July last year. The increasing choice of destinations continues to attract more passengers, demonstrated by a 108% growth in passengers travelling to Israel from the new El Al service launched earlier this year.
London Stansted Airport and East Midlands Airport both remained largely flat, seeing a minor 0.5% and 1.0% decrease, respectively in the number of passengers compared to July 2018. However, both airports saw strong passenger growth to Turkey, with Stansted seeing a 35% increase, and East Midlands 50%. London Stansted also saw 83% growth in passengers to Dubai.
