MAG appoints two new Non-Executive Directors

·       Steve Fraser and Emma Gilthorpe have joined MAG’s Board, bringing a range of expertise and experience

·       Incumbent Board members Jon Wragg and Catherine Schefer have retired from their roles

 Manchester Airports Group (MAG) has announced that Steve Fraser and Emma Gilthorpe have joined its Board as Non-Executive Directors.

Steve Fraser is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cadent and has more than 20 years’ experience of managing and transforming infrastructure businesses.

Emma Gilthorpe previously held the role of CEO at Royal Mail. Prior to this, she was a member of the executive team at Heathrow Airport for nearly 15 years - most recently as its COO, navigating the business through the Covid-19 pandemic.

Existing Board members Jon Wragg and Catherine Schefer will both retire from their roles as Non-Executive Directors at the end of September.

MAG is the UK’s largest airports group, which owns and operates Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands airports alongside digital travel services business, CAVU. The Group is the largest private investor in private infrastructure outside of London and is set to invest £2.5bn in its airports over the next five years.  MAG serves more than 65m passengers a year and supports more than 40,000 jobs across its sites.
